Below is a list of some of the most important van life meetups that are scheduled in 2025 so far. Obviously, these are far from the only meetups, and you should definitely attend any and all meetups you can. That said, if you can make it to just one of the ones on this list, you’ll almost definitely make some amazing connections and learn a new thing or two about van life.
Escapar a la Baja
- Dates: January 29–February 3, 2025
- Location: San Juan de la Costa, Baja California Sur, Mexico (Faro Romaine and Casa La Bastilla)
A celebration bringing together locals and explorers from around the world to enjoy the beauty of Baja California, Escapar a la Baja is the perfect van life meetup for those who love rugged adventure. Van Life’s Pride in the Desert Meetup
- Dates: January 9–13, 2025
- Location: Quartzsite, Arizona
Van Life’s Pride in the Desert is an annual free community-driven event that brings together queer folks and allies, providing a safe space to be authentic. Xcapers Annual Bash 2025
- Dates: January 11–19, 2025
- Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Technically, the Xcapers Annual Bash is an RV rally rather than a van-specific one. That said, many van lifers attend the event and enjoy connecting with other van lifers, as well as RVers. This is a unique event offering activities like yoga, fitness classes, seminars on RV life, and more.
VanFest: Liftoff! 2025
- Dates: February 6–10, 2025
- Location: Viera, Florida (Space Coast Daily Park)
Florida’s premier vanlife and nomadic celebration, VanFest: Liftoff! features a space-themed weekend with hundreds of attendees. The event takes place on the space coast and offers a fantastic view of any rocket launches that might happen over the weekend. That said, even if no launches happen, you’ll still be able to enjoy music, games, and more.
Arizona Ironwood Meetup – 4th Annual
- Dates: February 7–10, 2025
- Location: Arizona (exact location to be announced)
A primitive dispersed boondocking camping event for RVs, vans, schoolies, and more, the Arizona Ironwood Meetup is a great pick for off-grid enthusiasts. Peace Love & Vans Florida
- Dates: March 7–10, 2025
- Location: Dade City, Florida (Withlacoochee River Park)
Peace Love & Vans is an epic Florida camper van gathering. The goal? For van lifers to come together to create a 1960s-inspired utopian van village. You’ll see all sorts of vans, including DIY builds, vintage vans, professional conversions, and more. Events include workshops, van tours, live music, and plenty of food and drink.
A Roam of Our Own
- Dates: April 17–21, 2025
- Location: Fallbrook, California
Part of ‘The Lost Places’ series, offering unique experiences for van lifers and overlanders, A Roam of Our Own is a solo-female vanlife gathering event. It’s a way for solo women travelers to find community and support in what might otherwise be a pretty lonely adventure.
The Caravan
- Dates: May 8–12, 2025
- Location: Naturita, Colorado
Another event in ‘The Lost Places’ series, The Caravan focuses on community and adventure. This event features a makers’ market, a DIY repair outpost, a kid’s rock painting table, workshops, live music, games, and pretty much anything else you might expect at such a gathering.
Holy Toledo!
- Dates: July 10–14, 2025
- Location: Toledo, Washington
Yet another gathering in ‘The Lost Places’ series, Holy Toledo! offers exploration and camaraderie. Like others on this list, this event provides excellent opportunities for van life enthusiasts to connect, share experiences, and enjoy the nomadic lifestyle.
